An Interfaith Alliance

Medical debt has ranked as a crushing burden to millions of US households for years. The global pandemic is only exacerbating the problem - the bills resulting from complex hospital care are one more cruel facet of “long COVID.” The US families sinking under these medical bills are of all faiths.

Across the major faith practices in our world ,there is a shared calling to help those in need. This value, common to us all, is the basis for our vision of THEEAlliance - a collective effort powered by diverse faith communities to move a mountain, or in this case, to remove a mountain of medical debt for US families facing financial hardship. We can accomplish so much more, working together.

“You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Leviticus 19:18) (Mark 12:31)

“…and to parents do good, and to relatives, orphans, the needy, the near neighbor, the neighbor farther away…” (Quran 4:36)

“This is the sum duty; do naught onto others what you would not have them do unto you.” (Mahabharata 5,1517)
